Destron e.Tags® assign a unique numeric identity to your livestock through universally recognized radio frequency technology. Using the Destron e.Tags® can reduce time and labor by electronically recording many important value-added variables allowing the producers acesses to quality, age and source verification programs.

Destron e.Tags® contain a passive, full-duplex (FDX-B) radio frequency identification (RFID) transponder encoded with a 15-digit identification number. The tags have a read range of 4 feet depending on the system used and at optimal tag orientation can be read by all ISO-compliant readers. These e-Tags® are manufactured in an ISO 9002 approved facility. The air coil and electronic components are molded and permanently sealed in a durable, high-grade polyurethane using an exclusive, patented process.
These lightweight (0.2 oz. to .35 oz) tags are suitable for use in cattle and calves, dairy cows, swine, sheep and coats. The buttons include a self-piercing component angled to provide small, clean incisions and treated with Infecta+Guard®* to reduce the risk of infection and disease transfer and aid in proper healing.
