The DTR™-3E Universal Reader is a rugged and versatile radio-frequency indentification (RFID) ready which allows you the freedom to scan and store more than 2,000 tag numbers almost anywhere you chose. The DTR™-3E's new vibrating alert system has been incorporated into the handle to facilitate the tag reading process in noisy environments or where visual set is difficult.

The DTR™-3E has a large built-in antenna providing superior read range capabilities (up to 12" depending on environment) for all ISO-Compliant tags and enabled with the latest in Class 1 Bluetooth Wireless technology. The reader has continuous scan mode which aids in high volume operations to improve speed and efficiency. The scanned tag numbers can be transmitted via Bluetooth Wireless Technology or tethered (RS232) cable connections to a PDA, Windows® based PC or scale head and saved into internal memory and downloaded later to data management programs. The reader can operate for up to 8 hours on a 6V rechargable battery.
