The KUHL 800 lb. Range Feeder has been designed with the body-and-shield-interlocking system of other KUHL large range feeders, making it waterproof. The interlocking system eliminates the use of caulking or other adhesives.

This feeder is constructed completely of strong, durable, UV heavy-duty plastic with reinforced ridges on the side allowing it to handle up to 800 lbs. of feed. The diameter of the shield measures 50", which gives full coverage over the 42" feeding pan. The feeder's design includes a locking mechanism for the lid, as well as for the rain shield, which securely connects the feeder lid to the top of the feeder.

This feeder has an opening of 30" for filling with feed. The rain shield has 4" extended sides to accommodate regions with particularly strong winds, prevents winds from wasting valuable feed, as well as helping prevent feed from getting wet in the rain. The feed adjustment is located in between the pan and the body to completely eliminate the need for metal legs. The desired feed height can be obtained by directly mounting the feeder body to the pan at the ideal feed flow level.
