Neogen Pi Quat 20 Disinfectant is a 20% dual chain quaternary ammonium disinfectant/sanitizer registered for use in poultry and turkey farms, hatcheries, and processing plants. PI Quat 20 may also be used to sanitize previously cleaned food-grade eggs in shell egg and egg processing plants.

Neogen Pi-Quat 20 Disinfectant is a bactericide, virucide, fungicide, deodorizer. Provides effective cleaning, disinfection, and deodorizing in a single operation. Effective in hard or soft water and 5% blood serum. Used in farm premises as hard surface disinfectants. Phosphorous-free formulation. It is a registered sanitizer for eggshells.

For poultry facilities, hatcheries, swine quarters, equine quarters and veterinary clinics, kennels, dairy operations, foot baths, foaming, immersion, low-pressure sprayer, and fogging.

Great product - No Smell

I had purchased this because with the pandemic, Clorox Wipes are out of stock everywhere. An extensive google search of the active ingredients led me to PI QUAT which is exactly the same, just a higher concentration. NOTE!!!! HIGHER CONCENTRATION. I was really worried about the smell being that the main uses are disinfecting chicken coops. I was pleased to open the bottle and find it had no discernable odor at all. Of course, now my girlfriend is experimenting with new MichaelWipe scents. Look for MichaelWipes on your favorite web store soon. :-)

Great Product

I used Quat when all 6 of my cats had giardia, and I read that in addition to medication, an ammonium quaternary solution was needed to disinfect all litter boxes in order to prevent the spread and recurrence of this disease. Roccal was recommended but I wanted something cheaper, so I searched and searched online for something until I came across this website. I ordered "Quat" and was amazed at the low price. It has worked wonders. I washed and used Quat as directed on all litter boxes several times a week. The cats are now free of giardia. Be sure to follow directions on the bottle scrupulously. It is an effective disinfectant and for that reason you must wear gloves and observe other precautions while using it.
