Works great for my water treatment of my well water.

I had the O rings on the pump plunger wear out quickly and the pump required a lot of force to move up and down. I replaced the hard original o rings with red silicone o rings , top 9.5mm ID x 2.65mm, lower, 10.6mm ID x2.65mm. All from online auction site, china. This greatly reduced the force required and has lasted much longer. Accuracy still good. I use it with much diluted sulphuric acid and fertilizers. I like it and am buying another.

I've had two reliable Chemilizer HN55 Injectors for 15 years or so--one for the well serving the house in town and one for the livestock well at the farm. Both wells have high iron levels and my well man suggested I use them with a dilute clorox solution to control the rotten egg smell in the water and to keep down algae. Works like a charm! Maintenance has been minimal, just a couple of easy to replace pump parts. I buy ultrafiltered water for coffee and drinking but the treated water is used for everything else.

The bottom dosing unit. Is complete junk. 1st the o-ring wear out almost weakly. They don't sell the o-ring by itself so you have to buy the whole $18 assembly. 2nd where the tube connects to the assembly has snaped twice, cheap plastic, which are $50 each. I've spent $300+ and still have a broken doser. Safe yourself the money and buy something else.
