Do not buy this! Waste of money! Soon as you get it full of water and carry it to where it needs to be, the bottom falls off and water goes everywhere. And trying to flip the thing over after filling, is really hard to do. And trying to get the base aligned without dumping the water is pain. This is the worst design.

The top and bottom are hard to align with the 3 tabs. When I got them aligned, it came apart as I tried to flip it upright, spilling water everywhere. The second time I used it, one of the tabs was broken. I wasn’t that hard on it, the tabs are flimsy. It is now useless! Poor value for the $$$!

I bought two of these and they worked for less than a year, but the white plastic top is either made of poor quality of plastic or is too thin. Both waterers developed spider cracks in the white plastic top, which allowed the air to access the tank and the water just ran out of the bottom of the waterer. I wouldn’t buy another one!

Down to ZERO is very miss leading being the drinking area its self is not heated it freezes overnight below 30°F. I followed the suggestions ie: in closed non breezy location, the freezer test, etc. When I called I was told it happens because that part isn't heated.
The water in the take on the other hand did not freez so if they could redesign to make the drinking area not freez it probably would be a good product.

Added suggestion - a convenient top fill plug would also make it a better product.
