I purchased this infrared heater for our barn. It is hung in a 10' X 10' insulated stall; and heats the stall next to it, too. I love this heater! You can adjust the temperature; and the heater is not only efficient, the heat is circulated quietly & evenly. My goats love it, and they sleep under the heater.

Service was great ….unit was nice but doesn’t heat much….I need more heat in my horse wash rack

The unit is about 6' long, solidly built with a simple dial control, which is just what I expected. We are using our garage this winter to gather small groups of friends (4-8 in total) with the doors and windows wide open, so radiant heating is the idea as air flows through continuously. We have it hanging horizontally as intended but rotated so that it is at a 45 degree to the floor (a couple of extra S hooks make it secure in this set up.) This way everyone can get a bit of warmth from it. While it would be good to have a second one on the opposite side of the garage, I have only a single 20 amp circuit. One unit still makes a difference and we comfortably sit for a couple of hours with our favorite beverages.

The heater arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. The directions were easy to follow and installation was simple. The unit works flawlessly and keeps the stalls and animals comfortable. When mounted in an 8’x20’ stall with 10’ ceiling (8’ above the ground and 2’ below the ceiling) the following performance was noted with a digital thermometer; 10 degree outside temperature 32 degree temp in stall, 810 degree temp of unit’s heating element (setting of 7 out of 10), 50 degree temp of ceiling above unit and miniature donkeys with a height to withers of 32” - 34” were warm and comfortable.

I've been using my Kalglo heater for 15 years to warm a pet farm pig in the cold winters of Fargo ND. It sits out in the dusty barn all summer, and is ready to go come winter. One of the best purchases I've ever made. Have used it for rescue piglets born in February also. It seems to be one of the safest and warmest ways to provide heat!
