Yard Gard™ effectively repels deer, raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, skunks, opossums, armadillos, rodents, bats and more with harmless ultrasonic sound waves that are silent to humans. The powerful sonic and ultrasonic frequency (15 kHz - 25 kHz) can be adjusted depending on pests. This repeller has both continuous or motion sensor operation. The built-in infrared motion detector activates when pests move into its coverage zone. Mount the Yard Gard™ anywhere with the keyhole slot on the back. The weatherproof unit features snap-on rain cover and the dual operation unit plugs into AC outlet or uses "C" batteries.

Low Noise Level

I have really had a rough time when it comes to mice and squirrels. I had a squirrel get into the wiring under the hood of my car and leave me without a vehicle for about 3 weeks. It was awful. I decided to give this product a try because I am at my wits end. This is what I have found: there have been no mouse or rat droppings in the shed where I keep my horse feed for the last week. I don't know if that's sheer luck or if this device is really working. I'm going to assume this product is doing its job and that alone makes it a good value for the money. It is also solar powered and energy efficient, and it does include backup batteries just in case of rain or over cast. The noise level is low and there are two dials to adjust the frequency. This product seems durable and I hope to be using it for a long time to come.

Purchased 2 / Don’t Work

I purchased 2 to utilize in Florida for coyotes and in Puerto Rico for dogs. We have over 30 stray dogs in our area in PR. In trying to find a humane way to keep the dogs away from our grounds, we used YardGuard. The dogs sat right in front of it without any notice of any sound. The coyotes are still in the area since we can hear their raucous chorus at night. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Low Noise Level
