I have bought many of these as we have a lot of gates that are barbed wire gates. It works perfect on all gates except one that I had to take off one side because it came in contact with another part of the fence. It still works perfect. Love love love these. We used to use the leverage closure but it was getting harder for me so we tried these and never looked back. Now almost all of our gates have these on them. We have had so many people comment on them. How easy they were to operate. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to use them. ;) I put on screws instead of nails, because we had some pull out. Try these you will like them as much as we do.

I purchased several of these gate closers by Koinzan Mfg. Co. from QC Supply a while ago. I could not find them locally. These are well designed and well made. The special nails hold them well to posts; no failures yet after a year or so, and some of my gates are wide. I also like my gates tight and these work better than others I have tried.

Great service and fast shipping. This works great to close gates. Only the nails did not hold well, so I drilled 2 holes and used lag bolts to attach it to the post.

You can make some maybe cheaper, but with these you bolt it to your post and it has a locking feature for padlocks!! One of the best purchases we've made for our farm!! One drawback is we use them on railroad ties and you can only use one handle, but that also makes it as a security feature too!!
