The secret to a long life for the lid is to not over tighten or torque it.

They have a competitive price and prompt shipping and come well packaged. This is not the first time I have done business with QC Supply, plus the local farm stores around here who sell the waterers never seem to stock the replacement lids.

I ordered several black plastic covers for the Little Giant Poultry Waterer - they are perfect! Just like the original covers (my old ones were over 7 years old and cracking with age) and they fit on snugly.

QC Supply seems to be a decent company with acceptable customer service, but the Little Giant replacement lids are very fragile and often crack under normal use. 3 of the 5 lids from my most recent purchase were cracked upon arrival. My experience shows that QC Supply will replace the lids without hassle. Unfortunately I have multiple Little Giant waterers and it is cheaper to buy replacement lids than new waterers.
