More about Comfort Cove® Radiant Heater - 59" - 120 Volt

Mount this 59" 120 Volt Comfort Cove Radiant Heater 2 1/2" to 4" below the ceiling, so the radiant panel directs heat downward across the room, without being blocked by obstacles. This radiant heater comes with easy-to-install mounting brackets and the 1/2" conduit knockouts make installation simple.

How Radiant Heat Works

Radiant heat does not rise like hot air, instead, it heats anything in its path - up, down, or sideways - traveling in a straight line until it strikes an object. It is unaffected by gravity, and will not fluctuate temperature. This efficient heating alternative warms floors and objects, as well as the air in a room, similar to the way the sun heats the earth. As objects in the room become warm - chairs, floors, people - the surrounding air picks up heat by conduction and the entire room maintains a constant comfortable warmth.

Excellent

Excellent little heater keeps my granddaughter's room at just the right temp and no danger she can burn herself on the hot surfaces.

very good heater

I have three long heaters, 11 or 12 foot 220 volt. they really put out a gentle heat. I did buy my thermostat at Lowes for $22. versus 50 plus every where else. this 5 footer i bought is in my work trailer which is 8 by 22 ft. not insulated, it is 110 volt , just because it is a working trailer for carpentry work. the sealing is 7 ft. . with aluminum ceiling so i don't worry about fire.

Excellent heating option

We have these heaters up in our home and they have been great. They are quiet, provide a nice even heat (no cold feet) and seem to keep the energy costs down. I like being able to control the heat in each room. I like these heaters much better than a forced air system or baseboard heaters. These heaters mount high, so you don't have to worry about them being in the way. Radiant floor heat might be a good option too, but these heaters are simpler and lot less expensive.
