Its non-porous smooth surface has 1.1” square openings to allow manure and dirt to fall through it - cutting the cleaning time in half compared to traditional wood slat floors.

A cleaner floor means less contamination of chicken eggs and healthy dogs too! Rot and corrosion-proof, the solid plastic construction resists microorganism buildup. This durable material easily outlasts wood slats and reduces footpad, leg, and blisters animals typically experience with wood slats.

Installation: It is recommended that you use 2" x 4" (5.08 cm x 10.16 cm) or 2" x 6" (5.08 cm x 15.24 cm) wooden supports. Fasten these support beams to the slat with No. 10 stainless steel head screws with a minimum length of 2" (5.08 cm).
