I didn't use this product for the purpose intended. I bought it to cut and place in a water feature to put rocks on top of. I needed something durable, waterproof and black to fill space so I wouldn't have to buy hundreds of dollars of black polished rock. The spaces allow water to flow through easily. Perfect!

These are amazing. I have 8 goats and started using these in wetter areas of the barn and pasture walkways during our NW rainy season. After 2 months the differenve in hoof health is amazing (pet goats, and I do hoof care monthly so this made my life way better). I kick out the built up gunk once weekly with barn cleanings, but could probably go 2 weeks. I just lie them right in the ground. Slippery until scattered with a little hay etc from goats the first day. Wish I had known about these years ago.

Wanted something for the bottom of our rabbit cages. These are easy on their feet and make cleaning a breeze! We were able to easily attach them directly to the wood frame. Definitely will be buying them again!

We were having an issue with our dogs digging in their kennel runs. We had small gravel down but they would still dig down to the dirt. We purchased these Dura-Slats and laid them on top of existing "leveled' gravel, and then added a small amount of new gravel on top of them. Worked perfectly. No more digging. :)

I purchased DURA-SLAT® Black Poultry & Kennel Flooring - 24" x 60" to use as grating over wooden floors in lofts for racing pigeons. I've the grates in place for about a month and I'm happy with them so far.

Most of the bird's droppings pass through the grates and form a dry layer on the plywood underlayment. Although the grates are sturdy enough to walk on, they are light enough to pick up to clean under and can be washed with water from a garden hose and brush. I plan to try a pressure washer in the future to make cleaning easier.
