Dawe's GroGel Plus DPP (Dawe's Poultry Probiotic) is a hatchling supplement and attractant for day-old poultry. When mixed with water, the dry powder forms a shiny, bright green, bite-sized gel that attracts the attention of all species of poultry. The high water content provides hydration and the concentrated nutrients and beneficial bacteria help hatchlings get off to a good start.

The super hydrating gel provides the framework to carry the nutrients in GroGel Plus. Designed to attract the attention of hatchlings, the gel promotes immediate consumption and delivery of nutrients and probiotics.

GroGel Plus provides an easy means by which just-hatched chicks and poults can receive immediate nutrition and hydration. A unique formulation, GroGel Plus is tailored specifically for the limited amount a hatchling can eat, and for the immature nature of its digestive tract.

The probiotic bacteria in DPP helps establish normal gut populations. These poultry-specific bacteria are specially selected and proven for colonizing ability, competitive exclusion, storage stability, and their beneficial effects on bird performance and health.

Instructions: Each poult, chick, or duckling should get AT LEAST a dose of 1 ml (1 cc) of the mixed product (one liter, or approximately one quart of water per 1,000 doses). For maximum hydration, up to 2x water can be added. Use warm salty water to remove unused GroGel Plus DPP from containers or drains.

To Mix Using Partial Packages

• 50 Doses = 3.5 grams or about 1 tsp., mix with 50 mL or cc water (or about 1/4 to 1/3 cup)
• 100 Doses = 7 grams or about 1/2 to 2/3 Tbls., mix with 100 mL or cc water (or about 1/2 to 2/3 cup)
• 500 Doses = 35 grams or about 2.5 Tbls.; mix with 50 mL or cc water (or about 2 1/2 cups)
• 1,000 Doses = 70 grams or about 1/3 cup (or 5 Tbls.); mix with 1 liter water (or about 1 quart)

Note: GroGel Plus DPP is over-formulated to allow for minerals, etc. in the water that may affect gelling; up to 50% extra water can usually be added without affecting the gel.
