This 1/2" universal Hudson Valve maintains fluid levels in various applications, replacing ball float valves. The Hudson Valve's internal parts are made of ABS plastic, EPDM rubber & stainless steel.

Fluid levels force a float to rise and close the diaphragm chamber as the diaphragm expands to stop the incoming flow. When the fluid level drops, the diaphragm escape is opened and allows the fluid to fill the tank. The Hudson Valve is resistant to freezing.

Repairs are made easy with the 1/2" Hudson Valve Repair Kit, QC Part #120009.

Works Great

This was to replace an old unit and works as advertised. It can get knocked to the side making it unpredictable, so take care when working near it. I would and will buy another when the need arises. (QC Part #: 120016)

It works for me!

The Hudson valve works in my fountain sump system while no other shut-off valve mechanism is able to. Other s/o valves are not able to deal with the water pressure in my system, even though I have adequate pressure reducer valves. The water in my sump system pushes its way past other valves, but the Hudson valve is able to control the slightly increased pressure.

I needed a Hudson 1.5 float valve for my waterfall pond and found it on QC Supply at a resonable cost and quck delivery. Valve works well and arrived within a couple of days.

This is a great water shut off, just mount it to the level you desire in whatever your filling with water & this will keep you topped off all the time with no worries or overfilling. Either mount it to the height you need or get a mounting bracket to make it more easy.
