No wasteful residue of flux remains on the face of the weld. Flux-coated low-fuming bronze penetrates deeply into cracks and seams to build a sound, nonporous deposit of weld metal for making leak-proof joints. Flux coating adheres firmly to the rod, eliminating chipping and backburn.
