Tips

  • The most important rule for the effective use of traps is good trap placement location based on thorough inspections to determine the high-activity areas of rodents.
  • The most common trapping mistake is using of too few traps. For only a couple of mice, a dozen traps are not too many. For severe mouse infestations, traps should be placed close together in double sets in areas of high activity.
  • Statistics show that more mice are trapped on the first night than on any other night.
  • When many rodents are involved, different types of baits should be used. Individuals in a rodent population forage for different types of food.

humane mouse trap

I've caught several mice in these traps but the lid apparently isn't tight enough to keep some mice from escaping. Either that or they keep the opening open somehow because even though I keep something heavy on top , they still escape. I can tell because there are mouse droppings in the trap along with the bait, but no mouse in in there.

Great trap.

Works well in chicken coop. I don't want to use poison and have my hens eat a poisoned mouse. I didn't even use bait in this at first and caught four mice. Put it along the wall where you think they walk.

Good commercial product for store

For commercial use, this is a very good product. Customer don't recognize that it is a mouse trap. Depending on the location of the trap, sometimes two can be caught in short period of time. Sometimes none can be caught for a long period of time.

great product

I put one of these out at my cabin. Works great. Mice go in...but can't get out.

Haven't caught a mouse in it yet... though have caught five - one in a standard trap and four on sticky traps, this week. They just don't like the tin thing...
