Requires special tools and is difficult to assemble

Requires special tools, is not simple to assemble, some areas are very sharp and dangerous, and the bottom being plastic is not a positive feature.

I like these nests but they are fiddly to assemble.

I bought the four-hole nest box which requires many small nuts and bolts to assemble. I think the larger boxes are assembled with pop rivets which is probably faster and easier.
Otherwise, this nest box seems light but strong and the removable bottoms should make cleaning easy.
Shipping was quick. Customer service was helpful when I had a question about assembly.
Overall, I recommend this product and QC Supply!

I recently ordered and installed the Kuhl 8 hole nest box with the nesting pads. My order shipped the day after my order and arrived within 4-5 days. Assembly was easy and I had not problem following the directions. I mounted the nesting box 18" above the floor in my coop with about 40 mixed flock, free range pullets. In the two weeks that I have had it up, the first pullet has begun to lay and has used the box. The eggs have been very clean. I can tell by the occasional feather in the nesting boxes that the other hens are checking it out so am optimistic that the majority will use it as they begin to lay.

was not happy with quality of product, a million screws to put it together and by the time I was done some of the holes didn't align properly, cheap plastic it should completely be made out of galvanized metal and no plastic
