How It Works

How to Apply

Directions Apply ManureMagic® directly to waste, lagoon, storage, or flush pit. Apply ManureMagic® by hand or with a scoop (not included). Ensure that manuremagic is applied to the liquid portion of the manure, beneath any existing crust. In deep pits, apply in each corner and every 50 feet along the outside walls. Reapply manuremagic after each major pumping. Lagoons should be divided into equal applications around the lagoon perimeter. Additional applications are recommended every six months.

• Deep Pits: Once per pumping season, simply spread across slats and wash down into the pit. If crusting is present, break the crust & apply beneath the surface layer. The product is most effective when applied after pumping, but it may be used anytime within 3 months prior to pumping. Can also be applied without entering the barn, by applying from the pump-outs if the pit contents are liquid without crusting or significant foam

• Lagoons: Once per pumping season, an application can be done from a boat or from the bank as long as there is no crusting present. The initial dose can be split between the barns and the lagoon when solids build-up issues are observed inside the barn.

Application Rates

• 25-lb pail of manuremagic treats a 2,400 head barn (1,000,000 gallon capacity) with 1 application
• Plug Pull Swine: 2 lb/month; 1 lb/application if pulled every other week, 1/2 lb/application if pulled weekly
• Dairy Lagoons: 37.5-50 lbs/million gallons of lagoon capacity to prevent crusting, break down solids & reduce odors
• Beef Deep Pits: 50 lbs/million gallons of capacity per pump-out

For every 1 million gallons of manure storage, apply

• Swine (deep pits) – 25 pounds ManureMagic® every time the pit is pumped
• Swine (pull-plug) – 2 pounds of ManureMagic® every month. Repeat after each pull plug
