Definitely worth it!

I was on the fence about buying this part for my Hot Dawg heater. Now that I have it and I'm working on installing the heater I'm glad I bought it. I'm mounting it in the ceiling of my shop. This means that the bigger (cold air) duct will act as a heat shield for my insulation. It also reduces the number of penetrations on the roof and reduces the total amount of ducting I'll need. Overall the cost is about a wash (I doubt it actually saves any money) but the ease of insulation alone makes it worth buying.
