More about Motomco Agrid3™ Rat Bait Chunx® Bucket - 4 lbs.

The first rodenticide registered by the EPA for use in organic production, Motomco Agrid Rat Bait Chunx in a 4 lb pail is trusted by farmers to get the job done. The bait chunx is made without whole seeds and can be used in virtually any baiting environment.

Tightly compacted and mold resistant, these blocks resist crumbling and have a high melting point of 200° F. Designed to break the cycle of anticoagulant resistance, the chunx contains Cholecalciferol, which kills in a single feeding. Rats and mice stop feeding after eating a lethal dose - requiring less bait per rodent and reduces the risk of secondary poisoning.

Works good.

The field rats seem to know winter is coming, and they all headed into the chicken coops. Over night we were over run, and just as quick the Agrid3 has gotten rid of them.

tres bien

when populations are in the high part of their cycle baiting twice would be advised. last year (during high population cycle) all the bait was eaten and then mice who were left went after the trees causing significant damage, even on older trees that are not usually bothered. effective when populations aren't high.

Set and forget

Seems to be taking a while for my house to become free of mice, but mice ARE eating it, and rodent activity is definitely diminished since I set some bait last week. I'll be setting a few in the chicken coops and more around the house. 4 lbs. should kill a LOT, so I hope it lasts a while in the bucket. (The bucket has an airtight closure and is really not that hard to open and close: good for me, but maybe bad for kids). Needs to be set in bait stations - that you buy or fashion yourself.
