Multifan MF36 Replacement Fan Blades - 36"
More about Multifan MF36 Replacement Fan Blades - 36"
Extend the life of your fan with our corrosion-resistant polypropylene fan blades. These replacement blades work with Multifan Model MF36. Part # 8E92Q. 36"
I bought this to replace a giant 6 blade poorly balanced steel ventilation fan in my shop.
IT was squealy, noisy, full of viration because the original manufacturer didnt balance the blades pproperly.. It had been bugging me for many years.
I actually wanted a 6 blade plastic fan to replace the steell monster, but couldn't identify a part number so I bought this one (3 blades) and when it arrived I realized that its hub was designed to contain as many as 6 blades... so I simply bought a second one, took it apart, and added it's 3 blades to this one- wheee I now have a very nice, quiet, well balanced 6 blade plastic fan !!
This is intended to be a specific part for some tractor or machine- as such it's hub doesn't have set screws etc. But it is nicely machined to accept a 3/4" shaft with keyway, and simply machining a couple of circlip grooves into my original machine's shaft made the installation super easy and reliable.
My shop now has a VERY QUIET nice ventilation fan~!!!
Highly recommended, as long as you can do some machining to make it compatible with your motor, etc...
