Get all the tools you need for your next plumbing project when you buy this Oatey® Handy Pack. This set includes a 4 oz tin of Oatey Purple Primer and a 4 oz tin of Regular Clear PVC Cement. Designed for use with PVC pipe and fittings, the primer will pre-soften pipe and fitting surfaces. The solvent cement bonds pipe and fittings. Recommended for use in non-pressure pipe systems.

Purpler Primer

This dual purpose primer and cleaner can be used on all schedules and classes of CPVC and PVC pipe and fittings. Prepares pipe and fittings for solvent welding.

  • Meets California South Coast Air Quality Management District 1168/316A or BAAQMD Method 40 and other environmental requirements
  • Removes surface dirt, grease and grime, and softens pipe surface in preparation for solvent welding
  • Always check local codes for acceptability of this product

Clear PVC Cement

Recommended for potable water, pressure pipe, conduit and DWV applications. Formulated for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 4" for Schedule 40 and up to 2" for Schedule 80.

  • Meets California South Coast Air Quality Management District 1168/316A or BAAQMD Method 40 and various environmental requirements
  • Recommended for potable water, pressure pipe, conduit and DWV
  • Recommended application temperature 40°F to 110°F
