We are first time bunny owners so we wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed for our bunnies (Picket, and Hagrid) to have a comfortable living area. We got this and thought it was PERFECT, it was a nice size, and 'easy' to fill, and refill. In summary, we filled it up, the bunnies looked as if they couldn't drink out of it, and the water was still at the same level it was at before. It didn't leak, no, not at all. Quite the opposite actually. The water wouldn't come out. So if you want your bunnies to stay parched and die of thirst.....this is the PERFECT thing for you!! If you don't, well....just don't buy it!!!

I really don't like to write bad reviews, but anyone who is looking for a good water bottle needs to know this. Do not purchase this water bottle for you bunny. It leaked like crazy for my boy Augustus. We checked to make sure everything was on properly and whatnot, as we are not new to bunny care, and everything was "secure" and "working". At first I thought the dripping was more "user error" than faulty product, because my bunny can be pretty messy with drinking sometimes. But we left for the weekend and came home to a flooded cage. His water bottle was full when we left, we were gone for Friday night, all of Saturday, and most of Sunday. We came home on Sunday....and Augustus had moved his litter box so that it made sort of a dam. He had about an inch of water left in the bottom of his water bottle.

If you want a flooded cage, thirsty bunny, and huge mess, then buy this. If you want a happy, dry, and hydrated bunny, do not buy this.

This product = big mess.

I love the hinged top, and that its 32 ounces, but the thing that makes the water come out is hard for my rabbit to use.
