Durable with a solid core and diamond braid jacket, this White Polyester 1/8" Cord has a medium to low stretch factor and working load limit of 70 lbs. Contains UV inhibitors. Sold in 1000-ft. spools.

Nylon — Stronger than polyester, more stretchability, less abrasion resistance
Polyester — Less strength and stretch than nylon, high abrasion resistance
Polypropylene — Low strength, low stretch, lightweight, floats

Note: The black cord has a higher resistance to harsh weather and sun.

Good cord

Good price and quick delivery. Bear in mind that this is ordinary polyester, not brushed, so it looks a little gray and shiny next to fluffy pure-white brushed polyester, which looks and feels like cotton. It's also a little slipperier than brushed polyester, so it's harder to get it to hold a knot. (I'm making a hammock with it.)
