Each fluid ounce of Emcelle Vitamin D₃ Liquid contains 2,500,000 I.U. Vitamin D. This white-colored micellized, water-soluble D₃ solution is specially formulated for use in swine drinking water. It can also be administered orally to newborn pigs.

Vitamin D activity is provide as chloecalciferol, an oily liquid that is micellized making this oil-soluble vitamin completely water-soluble. The micellization process enhances the ability of animals to utilize Vitamin D and other fat-soluble vitamins. The process allows solubilized fat-soluble vitamins to be absorbed more readily than dry, oil-based, or emulsion-forms of fat-soluble vitamins.

Drinking Water Directions for Grow/Finish & Breeding Swine

• To prepare a stock solution, mix 1/2 fl. oz. Emcelle D₃ per gallon of water
• Meter the stock solution at the rate of 1 fl. oz. per gallon of drinking water
• This will provide approximately 9,750 I.U. Vitamin D per gallon drinking water
• Use when Vitamin D supplementation is needed, especially in gestating sows before farrowing

Oral Administration for Newborn Pigs

• Orally administer 1/2 to 1 mL per newborn pig
This will provie 42,250 I.U. to 84,500 I.U. per dose
