Molded from an advanced polyurethane formulation for a softer, more flexible tag, blank Y-Tex All Americal Female Button Ear Tags offer excellent visibility and retention. These versatile buttons may be used for cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats.

The flexible male buttons with the patented Snap-Lok® collar provide superior resistance to snagging and prevent tag-button separation. The buttons are designed to provide ample air circulation around the incision to promote rapid healing. Includes 25 button sets per bag.

Excelant for sheep.

I tried tattooing but that turned out to be unreadable with multi colored ears. I decided to go with ear tags but all I could find were ones bigger than the sheep ears. Even the ones made for sheep & goats. I finally found these piglet tags. They are perfect. I use a pence soldering iron to melt a number in the tag then use a sharpie to blacken the grove. I also added notches in the outer rim to denote which herd the sheep belongs too.

These are perfect for sheep.

As for price this site had them cheaper than any other & beat the farm stores around here that could get then.

Great value..

My "hobby farm" started as an ester present for my son and has grown from there. The price that I paid for these tags got me both the front and back of the tag for a little less than around here just for either the back, or if your were lucky the front. These tags came with a large area to write your own number or number-letter combo on both the front and back. If you use the right color contrast, yellow on black or purple on white for example, you can see the tag number very easily even though the tag is only a "dot", actually I think that it is easier than standard sheep tags.
